Updates will be made towards the end of each month, so stop by often to see how your contributions are adding up towards our Building Fund!  King Soopers has made a change to the program, starting Jan. 2013 you will no longer be able to buy gift cards for other stores or restaurants using your BCC/King Soopers gift card.

We treating this fundraiser as a horse race.  Each member who has purchased a BCC/King Soopers or Safeway Gift Card is assigned a horse.  The horses started their warm ups in February 2012 and by the end of March 2013 we are really making some progress, thanks to some new horses in the race.  Lost your card or have an inactive card with a zero balance?  Buy a new one for 10.00, they come preloaded with 10.00 so they cost you nothing. Pour a mint julep and read on...they're at the post for March 2013.....they're off!

Safeway results: The Rosenberry horse is way out in front with 300.00 in reloads.  In the middle of the pack is the Fraser horse with 200.00 in reloads and the Avery/Larson is out of the gate but not very far with only 40.00 in reloads.  More horses have owners now so watch next month for more results. Stay tuned!

Now on to the good stuff the King Soopers horse race!

Out of the gate we continue to see the Avery/Larson horse in 1st place and just crossed the ten thousand mark with $10,190.  After taking last month off, the Williams horse is still in 2nd place and continues to gallap at a great pace with $8590.  In 3rd place coming up the outside, it's Nate's horse with $6420, this horse continues to be very steady every month.  In 4th place after also taking a month off is the Day horse with $4870.  In 5th place and the fan favorite is the Brandow horse with $3720.  This horse makes progress every single month...if you are in it for the long haul put your money on this horse! In 6th place we have the Petrie/Wise horse with $2545.  In 7th place we have the Geurin house with R1030! Folks this horse was playing dead for several months but is back running again and really gaining speed.  In 8th place, the Welsh horse has stopped for oats as there was no action this month but continues with $1010.  Next is the Bloom horse who lays down, gets up, lays down, gets up and right now is lying down with $760.00 in 9th place.  Rounding out the top 10 is a new horse belonging to Sandstrom-Knight who in 1 month racked up $620.00...look for this horse to overtake a few others next month.  We have some great racing going on!

Now a few horses must have either gone on vacation or just aren't eating anymore....We are looking for the Baylis, Salba, Gardner, Gearing and Gibson horses...hope to see you active and at the post next month.  Click here for your official race program  to see where your horse is in the race!  If your horse is no longer on the chart it isn't too late.  Come on activate those dead cards or just buy a gift card and show the club you too can earn money for our building fund without it costing you a single dime.  You have to eat, your vehicles need gas, do some good for the club and get in the race!
